Main Street Citgo was started as Main Street Texaco in Winchester Massachusetts in 1977, by Dick Yirikian. Dick has turned
his life-long passion for all things automotive, into a career that has spanned four decades.
Dick always wanted to run a different kind of auto service business. Over the years, when most gas stations turned into
convenience stores or self serve, he still offers full-service gas, and continuously makes the investments in technology and
people to keep his shop providing state-of-the-art car repair. Customers are pleased to be able to get expert, professional
auto service conveniently located, in the heart of Winchester center.
Dick is known to three generations of Winchester residents as a highly engaged owner-operator. He runs his shop with
military precision. He knows his customers by name and understands his reputation is his greatest asset. Dick has been a
long-time fixture in the community and has generously donated to hundreds of local causes over the years, including
sponsoring one and up to three Little League teams every year!
His extensive knowledge of cars is quite remarkable. His wife is amazed that he can actually identify different car marques
by sound! Customers love the fact that they can speak to the owner or an ASE Certified Master tech about their vehicle
without having to go through a service writer with little-to-no technical knowledge of cars.
The team at Main Street Citgo is very unique among auto service businesses. They are carefully selected individuals, who
