What are ASE certified technicians?
ASE stands for National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. This non-profit organization was created in 1972 to improve the quality and testing of
automobile repair and service professionals. They provide rigorous testing and requirements to achieve certification in various specialties of service and auto
repair. Using ASE certified professionals to work on your vehicle, gives you a peace of mind that these people meet or exceed these national standards.
What types of vehicles do you work on?
We fix and service all types of foreign and domestic cars and light trucks. We do a lot of work on Volvo, Volkswagen, Audi, Subaru, Honda, Toyota, Nissan,
Jeep, GM, Ford, Mercedes, Chrysler, Porsche, BMW, Acura, Chevrolet, Dodge, etc.
Can you do the manufacturer's recommended scheduled maintenance on my car?
Yes, we can do your scheduled maintenance. We constantly invest in the computer software to tell us what your car needs and when the manufacturer
recommends it. Shops without this information, shouldn't work on your vehicle. Vehicles are complex computer driven machines that need knowledgeable
people with the right equipment working on them.
When does my car need an inspection?
All cars in Massachusetts need to have a safety inspection every year. Cars built from 1997 onward need an emissons test every year. New cars are exempt from
emissions for the first year. We are a registered emissions repair shop by the State of Massachusetts, that means we are certified to repair emissions problems,
should you have one. We do car inspections M-F from 8-5pm, and Saturdays 8-1pm.
What types of tires do you sell?
We sell all brands and types of tires. We have great relationships with suppliers to get you the brands you want and can afford VERY fast. We are tire specialists
and will offer you a range of options to get what works for you. We can get very basic tires to the most exotic 17", 18" and 20" tires - Goodyear, Michelin,
Yokohama, Firestone, Bridgestone, Kumho, Dunlop, Continental, B.F. Goodrich, Pirelli,etc.
Can I get service done while I wait?
Yes, many jobs can be done while you wait in our clean customer care area or run errands downtown. If you are local, we can give you a ride home, and
deliver the car later. If you're a Boston commuter, leave the car with us for the day; as we're right in downtown Winchester, next to the commuter rail.
